I am a clinical social worker, licensed in the State of Washington. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Boston University and advanced certification in psychotherapy from the Northwest Family Development Center. My psychoanalytic training was completed at the Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I am a member of the Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work, the International Psychoanalytic Association and the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study. In addition to my clinical practice, I teach courses in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy through various local organizations. I am on the faculty of the Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and, currently, its Director of Training. I am a past president of the Child Therapy Association. I have been working in the field since 1992.
